In his short 27 years, Jean-Michel Basquiat was one of the most influential artists of his time. Juxtaposing historical commentary, images, and text – his works had not only a visual, but poetic feel. Basquiat emerged from the 1980s neo-expressionist movement. This piece is decorated with Basquiat’s work “Evil Thoughts” originally painted in 1982. The kokeshi doll sculpture is perfect as a gift or as an original decorative item in the contemporary home.
